Lots of Happy ... 2 Ways ..... I've been zapped by a kit again!

Enjoying creating the Lots of Happy Card Kit 2 ways is kind of like having your cake and eating it, too.  For a former 'ho hum' kit maker, I've been zapped once more.  This is more of a 'wow' kit than a yawn maker.  We enjoyed making these cards at my February Scraps and Prayers class and they were a huge hit!  Prior to the class, I made 2 of each of the cards.  My first set was colored using the Watercolor Pencils that come in the kit.   For my second set of cards, I used our new Stampin' Blends for the coloring.  I like both of my card sets ... a lot!

As you can see, all the cards are really nice and truly fun to create.  The kit includes all the materials you need, including the ink and stamps, and you can get a refill kit, as well.

If you follow my blog regularly, you know that at the end of each card class we always share which card was our favorite.  If you are wondering which one was chosen - unanimously -  here it is!  It was my favorite, too:)

The Last Few Projects from 2017

I'm wrapping up loose ends and sharing the last few of my 2017 projects today.  With all my health issues, I just didn't get them posted earlier and still thought you might like to see them ... and they can easily inspire you to create new projects using these design ideas.
Any of these boxes and bags can be created for most any occasion.

These little 1" artist canvas cuties can also be created for any holiday or occasion.  I attached the DSP using clear, matte Gesso and then attached the darling little houses, snowmen and trees.  There is a 1" piece of CS attached to the back of each canvas, with a strong magnet sandwiched inside.
I love making these large gift bags.  They hold a lot, even class kits.

Mini Coffee Cups? I've made a few of those:)

Even though it's past time to make Christmas gifts, I still have a few I'd like to share with you.  I'm hoping some of these may inspire you to adapt them to new uses and ideas and add some of our wonderful, new products for creating them.  Enjoy!

I've made so many of these cute little mini coffee cups that I could probably make them in my sleep.  I've had quite a few people ask for my source to order them and here it is:
THE LIDS:

THE CUPS:

ALSO:

You can buy 50, 100, even 1000 or more, so you can make as many as you'd like:)
There are many sites online that share lots of ideas for various holders for these little cups, if you want to step it up.  I really only scratched the surface for possible project ideas.  Any of these would be wonderful for Valentine's Day, for sure!!!  The little 'deer' holder on the right above is actually for a K-Cup.
We had so many cute little embellishments this year that it made it easy to add some great finishing touches to my projects.
Tip:
Look through our current catalogs for embellishment ideas.
Look at our framelits and thinlits for inspiration for embellishments.  The smaller ones can be the perfect finishing touch to add to a project.  Be creative!

Mini coffee cups aren't the only idea for a little treat to drink.  How about some cocoa?  I got this idea from https://thepaperpixie.com/ online.  I love her blog and have gotten a lot of inspiration from it!
Need a little treat to go with your drink?
These would be so cute turned into Valentine's Day treats!

I have a few more little project ideas to share with you in some upcoming posts, with the idea of inspiring new project ideas from them.  I'll have a lot of new product/project ideas as well, so I hope you'll come back and see them.

I'm So Ready to Have A Class With You!

Our Scraps and Prayers class for February is coming up this Monday, February 12 and I absolutely can't wait!  We're going to be using a card kit that I think is really fun.  I chose it for several reasons:
- First, I think it's really pretty and a lot of fun.
- There are a variety of card shapes and sizes.  I love them all!
- Also, it saves me from a lot of the prep work, so I can be sure to be ready.

My shoulder is doing very well, but I want to keep it that way.  If you've not been able to stamp for a while, kits are a great way to get back into some creative fun.

I'll show you a little sneak peek, but you'll be in for a big surprise when you see how I made two different versions of each card - using two different coloring techniques.
It comes with stamps, ink and everything!!!  I especially like that you can get a refill kit and make another 20 cards.
Tip:
Some of the cards and envelopes are not the right size for mailing.  You can use those for little 'surprise' notes or gift enclosures or slip them into larger envelopes that can be mailed.  I love options!

Here are the images of the stamps that are included in the Lots of Happy card kit.
