July Stamp Club: Color Camp

I love playing with color.  Whenever I begin a design, I pretty much always begin by planning my colors.  After that, I work on the design, the layout, and then plan my images and embellishments.

I guess I've always been good at working with colors and often do it without even thinking about it.  My eye tells me what looks good.  Sometimes, though, we need a little help.  I have years of experience with studying art, taking art classes, studying art in college, and, best of all, sitting beside my mom and watching her work with colors.  She used colors in her quilting and painting and loved to decorate our home with beautifully coordinated colors.  I guess I inherited the genes for all that, too.

At times when you may feel stuck on planning your colors, we have a tool to help you --- our wonderful Color Coach.  I like to use it to come up with different color combinations that I may not have thought of using together.  Our July Stamp Camp will focus entirely on playing with color.  I'll teach you how to effectively use the Color Coach.  We'll explore all about working with colors and how to plan out color stories that you will love.
