Crumb Cake and Comfort Cafe

Here's another cute little card --- 4 X 4" --- using the Comfort Cafe DSP.
I like stamping on a DSP background and used Papaya Collage for this one.
I curled up the ends of the 'flag' pieces using a bone folder.

I'm looking forward to my Friday 3-4-5 Card Buffet Class tonight.
I think they'll like what I have planned for the evening.

Playing in the Leaves

Today's post shows a project I made playing in the leaves.
I used the French Foliage and Perfectly Penned stamp sets.
I still cannot believe how wonderful the new ink pads are to use.
I just love them!
They really kick up your stamping several notches:)
I used a two of the framelits to set off the focal piece, along with a couple snips of more mustard and old olive ribbons.  I love the polka dots!

My ink colors:
crumb cake
soft suede
more mustard
cajun craze
pumpkin pie
old olive

... and yes, you guessed it, this will be one of the choices at my Friday 3-4-5 Card Buffet Class.

Midnight Butterflies!

Here's another of the card choices for my Friday 3-4-5 Card Buffet Class.
It's all done with midnight muse and whisper white -- a classic, clean look.

The stamp set is Kindness Matters.
I've used the decorative label and modern label punches and a tiny touch of bling with a little rhinestone.
Hope you'll sign up to join us for a fun night of stamping.
Make 3, 6 or 9 cards and enjoy some stamping time with friends.

While you're here, you can shop the tail end of my remaining retired stamp sets.
I'm having a special --- 1/2 off all remaining items / Buy 3 and get 1 free.
If you order from the new catalog, you can have that amount in credit to 'shop' the remaining retired stamp sets.

A Cute Little Card and Our Cute Little Critter

Here's a cute little card that was a lot of fun to make.
This is a 3 X 3" card and fits into our smallest envelopes.
I used summer starfruit for the top layer and a new embossing edgelit across the front of it.
The cute little flower is 3 layers of paper daisies, embossed 3 times each.
The little In Color Dahlia makes a great center for the flower.
Using the bitty banners framelits and coordinating stamps makes it easy to add a sentiment to any card.
A little knotted sprig of In Color stitched satin ribbon adds a nice finishing touch.

And now...
Meet our cute little backyard critter.  He has taken a liking to our bird feeder.  He tore up the first one and threw it on the ground, after chewing through a vinyl coated wire!
My husband, not one to be discouraged, replaced the bird feeder and hung it with a chain.  The squirrel just uses the chain as an easy way to climb down to the bird feeder.  He actually stretches his entire body over the bird feeder, reaches down and pulls seeds out of the hole and flings them onto the ground.  Then, he and the birds enjoy a shared snack.

These are seeds flying to the ground.

It's always fun to enjoy nature right in your own back yard.  The boys are loving it!  Well, I'm off to work in my studio.  I have a lot more to get ready for my Friday night class.  Have a great day!

Raspberry Ripple and My Top 10

Here's another little 8 X 8" scrapbooking project.
This one features raspberry ripple and a little gumball green.
These are two of the new In Colors.
I used the Oval Accent Bigz Clear die for the focal piece and a framelit from the Apothecary Accents Framelits.

Punches:
Boho Blossoms Punch
Scallop Trim Border Punch

The stamp set is Forever With You and it works beautifully with the die and the framelits.
Notice a little touch of the new gumball green stitched satin ribbon, available in one of my Product Shares.

Banner fun!

I love the look of the little pennant banners.
You can do so much with them.
I've used them for today's post in a little 4 X 4" card and an 8 X 8" scrapbook page.
I've used Betsy's Blooms and Papaya Collage stamp sets for my projects.
My colors are crumb cake, midnight muse and summer starfruit.
I added a touch of 'bling' with some little pearls and a bit of First Edition DSP.
Remember, today is the last day for my guessing contest.
Try to guess my Top Ten Favorite New Stamp Sets.
The more correct guesses you get, the bigger your prize!

'For You' --- a pretty card

Using Layered Labels, the Apothecary Accents, the new Fancy Fan embossing folder and the new ink pads made creating this card super easy and fun!

I used little strips of Comfort Cafe DSP for the 'flag' pieces.
To make them, just cut a 'v' in the end with a square punch.
I added a little pin to accent the seam binding and crochet lace.
Are you wondering about the flower, I used three paper daisies!
I brayered over each one with VersaMark ink and then added Summer Starfruit ink over that.
I embossed them with clear EP and repeated the process 3 times.
I added an antique brad to the center.
The 'for you' label is on dimensionals.
My colors are the yummy Midnight Muse and Summer Starfruit.
Using the colors from the DSP is an easy way to plan an instant color scheme.

Don't forget about my contests and promotions going on for a limited time.  Hurry because time is running out!

Quack!

We had some fun visitors stop by our side yard this morning.
They were enjoying the shade and then, as the boys and I crept up to see them better, they decided to move on a bit.

I must get back to a little stamping while the boys are having their 'book time' now.  They always protest mildly and then end up falling asleep.  Another reason to love them dearly:)

Poor Little Guy!

They're still keeping my sweet little Aaron in the hospital.
Having asthma is scary.
Having your grandson have asthma is terrifying.
I'm home with Ben and trying my best to keep him from missing his brother so much.
I'm trying to do a little stamping just to keep my spirits up and not worry myself to pieces.
Stamping is good therapy.

A Busy Time

This has been a super busy week for me.
Following my big garage sale and then my Open House, I've had customers who couldn't come Sunday dropping by throughout the week to place orders.
I'm thrilled that everyone loves the new catalog as much as I do.
In the midst of it all, that beloved brown truck keeps stopping and dropping off fabulous goodies.  It's like Christmas!
We are also getting ready for our 40th Wedding Anniversary party this Sunday and have lots of friends and family coming by to help us celebrate.  I feel so blessed to have enjoyed 40 years with the man I love and even more so when I think of the family we've raised together, the grandchildren we enjoy so much and all the experiences we've shared and enjoyed together.  He truly is my best friend.

Now, for some stampin' business.  With all these goodies arriving at my home lately, I've decided that I must get more of these delightful products into your hands.  What better way to do it than with a Product Share.  I've come up with 7 different choices for you, all in varying price ranges.  Contact me if you'd be interested in any of these.  Here's what I have for you:
